A Sneak Peek. . .

I dabble in Cosplay. I'm not an avid cosplayer, I usually do cosplays for conventions that I attend. I like bringing characters to life and the process that comes with it. And, no I am not a professional cosplayer, I just cosplay as a hobby, haha.

So the current cosplay that I am working on is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare character. Her name is Farah Karim. I played the campaign and I was in awe of the character. I loved how she was a strong leader and role model for her people.

As I played the game, I kept thinking she is so badass. She knows the ins and outs of battle and knew how to take charge and lead her guerilla army. I have nothing but admiration for this character. She is middle eastern.

So here is a pic of the outfit that I put together so far, I still need to get the accessories and the airsoft rifle for the outfit.

It's not much, I didn't make the cloths. Fabric can cost a lot of money, so when I find characters that wear everyday clothes, I usually go to thrift stores and find clothing as close as possible to what the character wears. There were times when I had to alter clothes and items to fit the picture. I might have to do that with her accessories.

So with that, we're just going to have to wait for the convention to see the entire cosplay ensemble. Of course, I am going to do a full cosplay test, but I won't post that up. Haha.

But here is a small test that I did, it's just a "headshot". She doesn't really smile. So ignore the cheap edits. Haha.
