"Hello, Darkness My Old Friend"

Yes, once again I am in that rut. That one where it bugs you and you can't figure what to do about it, and how to solve this annoying problem that all creative peeps face. I am talking about the elusive, block, or in my case, the writers block.

It's a wall that pops up out of nowhere. At times it feels like a persistent poke in the side that continually says "What you going to do?" or "How come you're not writing?" Ugh, pesky bug of a creative block.

Haha!

I remember when I was in high school, they had a special speaker come in and he was a renown author, and he talked about the monster of a Writers Block. HE said sometimes you have to find the source of it. For him it was the clutter in his room.

As for me....... I don't know what the source is this time.

I thought maybe it's the all the laundry that needs to be washed..... maybe.

Was I too deep in thought about my future and goals? What is the root of this weed of a problem.

As I type this, I'm thinking, will a poem about a writers block be enough?

Yes, how to get rid of this block. The iceberg to my titanic, but not quite the kryptonite.

Maybe that's the cure for this virus, to write a poem about it, lol.

Hmmm. Fight fire with fire.

I'll give it a try...
