Housekeepers Prayer

A Housekeeper’s Prayer. Dear Lord, Let there be no call-ins, For there to be less than 20 rooms And no one to steal my good broom. Dear Lord, Please let there be sheets, Towels and supplies to last the day. And don’t let anything get in my way…. Like a broken vacuum. Dear Lord, If anyone used my cart while I was gone, Let it be restocked and clean. ‘Cause you know I'll make a scene If it isn't the way I left it. Dear Lord, I pray that the day be easy and fun, With guests who understand, And tips left on the night stand, A 5 dollar bill would be nice. Oh and Lord, Please, please let there be more people staying over Than checking out. Amen.
