Native American is not what you think

It's not for those who are of 1st Nation.

Wait.

1st Nation is still too politically incorrect.

No, we are the "immigrants"

not of this land

with the ones to earn

the last rights

of a "united" country.

We don't know anything about

who we are

our history is rewritten to whitewash you

to make you think we are

mere moles living under

your middle class homes

with a wage that won't buy you happiness.

We are an annoyance

like the animals

you slay to extinction

like you did our language

our heritage

our core

is like the earth

hot and molten to burn when are words

become foretold prophecies

you think are lies

when we say you

you

who think they are a king

whom you wanted to escape ages ago,

but you took our values and twisted it

into ulcers and small pox to kill off

your "enemies".

No. Native American is more than

the 1st Nations.

More than our skin and our black hair.

It's everything that you fear.
