One Head banging Week

As we drove back to our hometown from Phoenix, many titles came to mind for this blog, titles like: "Just what the Doctor Ordered", or "Nothing Else Matters", and " Heavy Metal and more!".

The countdown to the Metallica/ Avenge Sevenfold Concert was nailbiting for me. It was like waiting for a new candy store open for a 5 yr old. Or counting down to Halloween....lol...well I do that.

The work week kept me busy as I saved my tips and aluminum cans money. I thought I had enough saved.... that's never the case when going to big city, a metropolis of metal fans and what not.

I kept looking at the calendar, crossing off each day as the day drew closer. Everyday I listened to each of the bands as I jumped up and down in the hotel rooms that I cleaned and head banged. Lol!

Needless to sat my coworker tried to catch me in the act which didn't happen. Nope I have a 6th sense lol. I sang along with the songs that grasped my heart and cupped my soul. But with each jump and drum beat my patience was growing thin and I was giddy with excitement.

the best part was that I was attending the concert with my little brother and that was more than I could ask for. Being at the concert with him was one of my happiest moments of my life, especially when we sing in sync with each song and head banged like crazy.

But in all honesty...if it wasn't for a new friend that I made earlier this year I wouldn't have gotten back into concerts and metal. I did miss the fast paced drums and bass line that shook the earth as the singer sang rhymes of confessions and untold truths. So I would like to thank my new found friend if we ever meet again, I know we will, it's just a matter of time.

The week turned into the weekend and ended with a shopping spree at the local Malls.

I had blast and it was one hell of a weekend to remember, I am looking forward to the upcoming Marilyn Manson concert. That is also going to be epic.

Until the next post, sat positive and creative. Peace!
