an eventful week

I must say that this week has been one busy and eventful week.

Where to begin.

Well I finally bought my concert tickets for the upcoming Metallica/ Avenge Sevenfold concert! That is going to be one awesome concert and the best part that is I am going with my little brother and we got good seats. Later we went to our Masani's (maternal grandma's) birthday party. although I was looking forward to all the mutton that was going to be served, I barely got any when it was time to eat. It was one of those times where I barely knew half the crowd was there and finding out who and how they are related to you. That was trip though, because I found out I was an auntie to one of Loma's friends. I tell you it's a small world and it seems to be getting smaller every time I meet someone.

Yeah, I helped out how I could at the party, ate a little mutton, ate some blood sausage and some mutton stew with frybread and tortillas. The event turned out great and everyone introduced themselves and shared memories about the start of the day.

After that we hit the road and stopped KFC and got us dinner for the night. I dozed to hearing my brother's laughing and jamming out to Metallica. I love hearing them laugh and telling jokes, they can do that and I love them for that.

Even if some are directed towards me, lol, but hey what else are brothers for?

Work was work, getting new instructions and drama on what has changed. like overtime isn't an option anymore, have to wait until check out time to knock on doors for vacancy. and all that jazz. Go to love the backwards politics of the Hospiltality Industry.

there were many other things that I wanted to do while I was out at my grandmas house, one was to the canyon that she lives by and take videos and pictures of it. The landscape where she lives always take my breath away every time I go visit her, the sea of pinon and cedar trees and the sweet smell of sage brushes. The red sand that compliments the aqua and forest green of the trees and bushes. Her house is one of the few places I call paradise.

This time there was no family drama...lol...at least I think there wasn't.

That was my week thus far and tomorrow marks a new day and new work week.

Peace! Until next time.
