My Personal Escape

5/15/2017

You’re my escape

The Callaghan to my hectic office

Texting you

Exchanging words, it all helps me

Escape

From the Dark place that I am in

This place that was a home.

I wish we didn’t meet in such circumstances

Where I found myself back to where I was

In a hole that I dug too deep

Looking for the silver lining.

I appreciate your thoughts

Your laughter that makes me smile,

A smile that I thought I would never wear again.

You help me escape,

To a Forgotten paradise

Of happiness.

It’s a shame

That we are just what we are

If only things were different

Then I can escape to you

All I want.
