Call me Beautiful

4/28/2017

Call me beautiful.

Like when you wake

Up to meet God,

And see his painted

Skies of gold and blue.

The dawn,

Beautiful.

Let me hear you

whisper it.

The word I yearn,

Beautiful.

Like your grandmas

Masterpiece of stories

Woven with hand spun yarn

Into a scenic rug

Of colors of the Earth.

Nizhoni(beautiful) is what they say,

When something steals your breath.

Like the 1st snowfall of winter,

Waltzing snowflakes

And hidden trees.

Nizhoni.

Beautiful like noir films:

Silent in motion,

Moving your eyes to follow

The actress,

Monroe

Spin, twirl and captivating.

Call me beautiful.
